Work With Me / Millennials

Millennial Program 2 (MP2)

Life is all about transitions, and Millennials in their twenties are in the phase of life with a very intense level of transition. So many changes are taking place during this time. College life is ending, it is time to be an independent adult, but sometimes the universe doesn’t cooperate with your plan. This is where a life coach can help you sort out your options and get you focused on what you really want. Then, we can work together to develop the steps to get you there. If you are feeling frustrated and unsure of What’s Next, then working with me will help you get clear on your opportunities and what your next steps might be.

This program is for college students and recent graduates. It is not a structured program, it is a One-on-One Coaching opportunity. We will look at where you are now and where you want to go. By creating strategies and action steps, you can get the life you want more quickly. It can be scary, frustrating and overwhelming when you leave the relative comfort of a college campus and begin to experience REAL life. But, with a little strategizing, it can happen more smoothly.

PROFILE: Caitlyn

Caitlyn has been employed since she graduated from college two years ago. Her job, though financially rewarding was less than satisfactory personally. She had a boss that didn’t appreciate her talent, experience and training skills with newer employees. Day after day she would go to work feeling more frustrated than the day before. She was at a crossroads and needed someone to help her sort out all her options, and discuss her short and long term goals.

Caitlyn and I worked to create a list of action steps. First she needed to get clear on whether to continue with a commission job which was financially advantageous or have a salary job where she could count on a steady paycheck each month. After considering the pros and cons of making a change, she decided to look for new employment options. She put together a list of potential contacts to network with and made some phone calls.

Once Caitlyn had clarity and focus on what she wanted, creating and accomplishing the next steps fell into place. New opportunities began to present themselves. She is starting her new position in a new company in a couple of weeks.

This time of life is full of opportunity, and it also has challenges. Just think about it, you have the ability to chart your life course and create it however YOU want. Sometimes it just takes having some support to get you started. Think about your life in terms of these 3 questions…

  • Who do you want to BE?
  • What do you want to DO?
  • What do you want to HAVE?

So many possibilities, what will you choose and how do you get started?

Working with a life coach gives you an impartial, non-judgmental advocate. Being asked the right questions, gets you thinking outside the box, and this can create all kinds of options. Stop struggling with your What’s Next, and begin focusing on a clear framework for your life.
